This app is designed to help train travellers connect and chat with co-travellers on the same journey.
- The app is not a dating platform
- The app does not promote or guarantee in-person meetings
2️⃣ Third-Party Disclaimer
Train Buddy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with IRCTC or Indian Railways.
All journey-related information, including train numbers and optional PNR details, is voluntarily provided by users.
The app does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of such information.
3️⃣ Eligibility
- Users must be 18 years or older
- Users must provide accurate and truthful information
- Each user is allowed to maintain one account
4️⃣ Account Registration
During registration and usage, users may provide:
- Name, phone number, email address
- Gender and speakable languages
- Train number (mandatory after login)
- PNR number (optional)
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account.
5️⃣ User Conduct
Users agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or exploit other users
- Share offensive, sexual, illegal, or misleading content
- Impersonate another person
- Use the app for spam or commercial purposes
Violation of these rules may result in account restriction or removal.
Meal Preference Feature
- Train Buddy allows users to optionally share meal preferences (Veg / Non-Veg / No preference).
- This feature is only for user interaction and convenience.
- Train Buddy does not provide, sell, deliver, or arrange meals.
- Meal preferences are shared at the user’s own discretion, and Train Buddy is not responsible for any outcomes related to food choices, allergies, or dietary needs.
6️⃣ Chat & Interaction Disclaimer
- Chatting with other users is optional
- All interactions are at the user’s discretion
- The app does not verify real-world identities
- Users are responsible for their own safety and decisions
- When a user sends a message, the recipient may receive a push notification if they are not actively using the app.
- Notifications are intended only to inform users about messages and activity.
- Train Buddy is not responsible for delayed, missed, or failed notifications due to network issues or device settings.
7️⃣ Trust & Verification Features
- Train number and optional PNR are used only to improve journey relevance and trust
- Verification features do not guarantee user identity
- User ratings may be shown to improve community behavior
8️⃣ Advertisements & Rewarded Ads
- The app displays advertisements using Google AdMob
- Ads may be personalized or non-personalized based on regional regulations
Rewarded Ad & Chat Credits
- For each train journey, users can freely chat with up to 3 users
- To chat with additional users, users may watch a rewarded advertisement
- Watching a rewarded ad grants chat credits
- Earned credits can be viewed in the Settings page
- Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value
9️⃣ Payments & Paid Features
- The app is currently free to use
- There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases
- Users are not required to make payments to access features
Any future paid features will be clearly communicated, and updated terms will apply.
🔟 Reporting & User Controls
- Users can report other users for inappropriate or unwanted behavior
- Reported accounts may be reviewed and restricted or removed
- Users can delete chat connections if they are not interested in continuing
- Users can delete their account at any time from the app settings

The app is provided on an “as is” basis.
We are not responsible for:
- User conversations or behavior
- Offline interactions or meetings
- Any loss, injury, or disputes between users
1️⃣2️⃣ Account Suspension or Termination
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Remove content that breaches app rules or policies
1️⃣3️⃣ Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Continued use of the app after updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
